Eat, drink & be merry at 'The Ola'

The Ola has two bars, each with its distinct character. The front bar is a popular stopping off point for those working nearby or travelling to and from the isles. It has a cosy fire in winter and proudly displays silverware won by some of the local sports clubs we sponsor. It is popular with locals and a venue for folk music. A place to chill out and yarn over a pint.

The refurbished lounge back bar family friendly restaurant is popular during the day for food. Our menu offers a great range of quality food options, from prime Orkney beef burgers to lighter snacks and sharing platters. Please note, no under 18's allowed in the bar areas unless they are dining in the restaurant area and accompanied by an adult.

When evening comes, the lights go down creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The lounge back bar is also a lively venue for events and gigs. Local and visiting bands play here and we host regular charity fundraisers and other themed events.
